Acceptance
By downloading or using Renewbie ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What the app does
Renewbie helps you track recurring subscriptions and their renewal dates using information you enter yourself. It does not connect to your bank, does not automatically detect charges, and does not guarantee that every renewal, price, or reminder will be accurate — the app is only as accurate as the details you (or its bundled catalog) enter.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal use, subject to these terms and the usage rules of the App Store or Google Play through which you downloaded it.
Purchases and pricing
The free tier covers a limited number of active subscriptions. Renewbie Pro unlocks additional features for a one-time purchase, processed and billed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We don't store or process your payment details.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, not by us directly — we have no ability to issue a refund from our side. Start a refund request through your App Store or Google Play purchase history.
Your data and backups
Your subscription data lives on your device. If you uninstall the app, lose your device, or never enable backups, that data may be permanently lost. Enabling backup to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive is your responsibility and is provided as a convenience, not a guarantee against data loss.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or the terms of the App Store or Google Play.
Disclaimer of warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always fire on time — operating system scheduling, battery optimizations, and notification limits are outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a missed renewal, price change, or trial deadline.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
